European Teaching Excellence for Students' Better Performance

On November 3 2021, the final conference on the results of the teachers’ training program within the framework of the project “European Teaching Excellence for Students’ Better Performance” with the support of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union took place.
The conference summarized the results of the program and 53 teachers from 12 regions of Ukraine were awarded certificates.
Professor Liudmyla Kalinina summarized the work of the group represented by Natural Sciences teachers. She noted the well-coordinated and effective work of the group participants and congratulated them on completing the 90-hour (3-credit) program.
The teachers of Ukrainian language and literature were addressed by Professor Olena Lokshyna, who said that the group included representatives from nine regions of Ukraine. She noted that the results of their work will be available to teachers and students from all over Ukraine, which in turn could lead to improved results in the next PISA cycle.
Senior Research Fellow Daryna Vasylieva spoke about the complete dedication of math teachers and their deep interest in developing competency-based tasks.
The result was the development of three collections of exercises that will be sent to the experimental schools of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
